Latchford Bridge is a locality along the Madawaska River, situated between Quadeville and Palmer Rapids in the Township of Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan. It formed around a key river crossing, with the first bridges constructed to improve access for teamsters and settlers navigating the colonization roads and logging routes of the region. While never a large settlement, Latchford Bridge became a notable waypoint along the rugged Madawaska corridor.

The bridge crossing facilitated transport of timber and livestock, and a small cluster of homes, barns, and stopping houses grew up around the riverbanks.
